Fancy buying a slice of ACMAV history?

ACMAV House has been home to many of our charitable and operational activities for many years, but sadly we have outgrown it.

With the approval of members at our recent AGM, ACMAV has resolved to sell our trusty headquarters in the heart of Box Hill.

If you have a keen eye for real estate development, are a budding property mogul, or are looking for a good commercial property then please contact our friendly agents at CBRE.

So, how easy is it to come home, flop on the couch and suck up a glass of red?

What about come home, throw on some runners, and suck in the fresh air?

Regular exercise, work-life balance, happiness, satisfaction, mental wellbeing and good nutrition are aspects of life we all aspire to, yet probably find difficult to package in nicely.

On this special evening of 1 September 2016, not only were two fabulous guest speakers on tap, but it was the first joint gathering of the CPBA and ACMAV. These two professional associations have been long established in Melbourne, yet never joined forces until now. The focus of this evening was health promotion – health body healthy mind. This was headed by guest speakers Associate Professor Michael Wong, a consultant psychiatrist, and Rebecca Hallam, an accredited exercise physiologist. Both presented their respective topics in a concise and insightful manner, and generated plenty of questions from the audience. Together with a wholesome banquet provided thanks to Tooraking Fine Chinese Cuisine, this first joint seminar was  informative for all and no doubt there will be a series of further health promotion talks in the future. Thank you to Dr Lilia Ilina, a key member in both associations,  for her instrumental role in this event.

ACMAV proudly recognises the support of Bank of Melbourne.

Our inaugural event to mark this partnership was held on Wednesday 22 June 2016 at Quanjude, Melbourne. With a full house and good food on the side, attendees were all ears for the advice from key speakers Mr Matt Manning and Mr William Lo. Taxation can be a proper quagmire to wade through, and it was helpful to be have take-home messages, case studies and robust discussion.

Thank you to Bank of Melbourne and to the speakers for a most informative evening.

Please join us for the next event on July 27 2016 – China: Grain to Pixel, an exclusive cocktail event for ACMAV members to attend a photographic exhibition curated by Pulitzer Prize winner Liu Heung Shing.

Monash Gallery of Art, 860 Ferntree Gully Rd, Wheelers Hill VIC 3150

    7:0o – to 9:30 pm
