'Parkinson's disease (PD) is the second most common neurodegenerative disease, ranking lower only than Alzheimer Parkinsons disease, and affects more than 10 million people worldwide. The average prevalence of PD in the Han population in China is ~3.9‰ of those ≥50 years of age.
