Dear Members and guests,

With recent events involving the novel Coronavirus in Melbourne, Australia and worldwide, the ACMAV Committee has received concerns about the Chinese New Year Yum Cha event Sunday 9/2/20.

Current advice from the Department of Health and Human Services is that public gatherings do not need to be cancelled, as long as recent travellers from Wuhan City or Hubei Province (including asymptomatic travellers) are self-isolated for 14 days from arrival. Symptomatic individuals should contact the DHHS Coronavirus Hotline on 1800 675 398.

Nevertheless, we recognise concerns from members and registrants and we have elected to cancel this event at this time.

For non-member guests who have paid, a full refund will be provided. Please allow 10 working days for this to be processed.
