This seminar is on “Hepatitis B and C management in Primary Care” at the Austin Doyle Lecture Theatre, Level 4 Austin Tower, Austin Hospital.  Thanks to our ACMAV member, Dr Christopher Leung, ACMAV has partnered with VHHITAL (a Department of Health and Human Services funded program delivered by North Western Primary Health Network, and Primary Health Network Eastern Melbourne), Hepatitis Victoria and The Chinese Health Promotion Coalition (chaired by Marion Lau, Ethnic Communities Council, People of Australia Ambassador, Order of Australia and previous Victorian Multicultural Commissioner). Experience live fibroscan demonstrations (including experiencing having one first hand) and learn how to tackle this rising epidemic in our Chinese community!

Primarily aimed at a GP audience, the breadth and depth on this program means it also has relevance to all clinicians including medical staff, nurses and allied health practitioners such as pharmacists are invited!

Thanks to:

  • Allison Burgess, Acting Program Manager, VHHITAL
  • Susan Campfield (Hepatitis Nurse who will perform live fibroscan demonstrations on the night)
